Preparing for Your College Application Month Appointment

Choose Your Colleges

  • Narrow your college choices and focus on those that fit your criteria best.

  • Review the college websites and make plans to visit those you are seriously considering, if you haven't already.

Know College Deadlines

  • Check all application deadlines.

Identify Application Fees

  • Many colleges require an application fee when you submit an online application.

  • You may need to enter a credit/debit card number on the application or mail a check after submission.

  • If you are eligible for the SAT fee waiver, you are likely eligible for an application fee waiver – contact your school counselor for fee waivers or if you are unsure.
